“I want ADDED to the Dairy Email List!” Please send us an email and we will reach out soon!

Current Dairy Order Form

We offer a weekly DAIRY PICKUP (as we are not a retail location) in our self-serve Farm Stand to those on our email list! We have partnered with Country Creamery to bring HIGH-QUALITY DAIRY products (like the AMAZING A2A2/non-GMO/non-homogenized milk, butter, cheese, yogurt, goat milk, and more) to our Farm Stand. You can keep reading below for more details about the dairy products available for pickup at our Farm Stand.

We worked with Hartzler Family Dairy until 9/1/2025. If you are looking for milk in glass bottles, please send us a message.

A2A2 cows produce milk that is easier for our bodies to process. This milk is as close to raw as is legally allowed in Ohio. Country Creamery Dairy is our dairy supplier for milk. We share the latest order form with our dairy email list.

Country Creamery Dairy

Country Creamery is a family dairy around Wooster, Ohio.

A2A2 Milk: Non-Homogenized and Vat Pasteurized With A Cream Top

The milk is NOT RAW. It is commercially packaged in plastic (from Country Creamery), non-homogenized and vat pasteurized. It is as close to natural as is legally allowed. You can also find homogenized milk through Country Creamery.

The milk contains cream. This is normal and is to be expected. It is NOT defective or spoiled. Clotting at the mouth of the jug is also to be expected. The clot of cream just needs to be pushed back into the liquid and the bottle shaken to redistribute the cream.

Once the milk is opened, we recommend that it be consumed within 5 days of opening for best flavor. Milk or cream left at room temperature will ferment and may explode or leak leaving a mess for everyone.

The A2A2 cows are fed a non-GMO diet with grass/hay. The farms are not certified organic due to the significantly higher costs. The farms desire to raise their cows โ€œas nature intendedโ€.

Are The Dairy Items Organic?

Becoming certified organic is a very expensive and tedious process for many farms. Many farms choose to forego this expense and continue to raise their animals on natural and clean processes that align with organic farming. Country Creamery practices organic processes and has elected not to become certified organic. The A2A2 cows are fed a non-GMO diet.

Are the Animals Fed an Organic Diet? What About Corn or Soy?

Although the cows are fed a grass diet during warmer seasons, they are fed grass hay during the winter season. We have been informed that the the grass/hay is not sprayed with pesticides or herbicides. We can not be certain if they supplement with corn or soy.

Are There Any Health Benefits to A2 Non-Homogenized Milk?

Absolutely, but don’t take our word for it. Check out THIS POST for more details on some of the health benefits of drinking A2 non-homogenized milk.
